For my daily create ideas, I wanted to do simple things that had to do with photography because those seemed to be my favorite types of daily creates.
Color Daily Create: There is so much color all around. Take a picture of something that you normally see every day that has many colors.
Food Collage Daily Create: If you had to choose five foods so eat for the rest of your life and you couldn’t eat anything else what foods would you choose? Create a collage of the five foods and post it on Flickr.
The daily create I did was to draw a picture of your interpretation of a famous piece of art. I decide do Circles by Bruce Gray. My interpretation is below.
I turned off all my lights and put my red lamp underneath.
Happy Birthday, Maggie Black. Here is a noir cat I made for you using fotoflexer. Enjoy
So, to start off this story, I just wanted to say that I needed the car. Okay. It was necessary. I was doing a mission and the guy got in a car. So, naturally I had to follow him somehow. I approached a guy standing outside of his car. He was about to get in. Honestly, I did fell guilty. I could see he had somewhere to go but so did I. I had to get his car. So, I didn’t push him over but did something different. I grabbed the keys and took him with me. “Get in the car, passengers side”, I yelled at him. He was startled and ran to the passengers side. “What are you doing”, he asked, looking very scared. “Look, I just need this for a little bit”. He said okay and we drove on. I was driving pretty fast and we got to the guy. I was able to take the robbing jerk away and the guy I took the car from seemed to find the whole thing fun. So, see I’m a good person and don’t do bad things. Well, except for that one time. The first guy I stole a car from had a really nice car. I kinda kept it for a bit, probably 2 or 3 months.I gave it back. Okay, so maybe I’m a partially good person.
I wanted to use this daily create about talking to strangers to get more into the voice of my character. I’m not sure if daily creates should be in the voice of our characters but I wanted to try it. I don’t personally have a story that I remember about talking to a stranger so doing my character was a good way to make things more interesting. Hope you enjoy!
Thursday, we were supposed to change the image of a tree and make it more artistic. I used fotoflexer to alter the photo. I took a picture a while back and decided to use that. I changed it so that it looks separated and sorta like puzzle pieces.
On Tuesday, we had to draw Batman in 15 second. I got a pencil and a paper and went to town. Good thing it was a relatively slow day and I could spare 15 seconds. Hope you like my Batman.
Yesterday, we were asked to create a poem about the rain and today we were asked to read out the poem. My poem is called Remember to Look for the Umbrellas. The poem is about my tendency to forget to look outside to see people carrying umbrellas. The window in my room is at an angle where I can see Campus walk so it’s the best place to look if people are holding umbrellas so I know it’s raining. Most of the time, I don’t do this though because I’m busy getting ready then I get rained on.
Here’s my poem reading.
Remember to Look for the Umbrellas!
It’s dreary outside,
It caught me by surprise
while I was walking outside to class
the droplets pass
by me and fall on my sweater
and as I was walking it only got wetter
If only I had looked outside the window before going to class
So, we were supposed to write a poem about the rain for Friday’s Daily Create. I decided to write about the many times when I wake up thinking it’s going to be fine outside and then I go outside and it’s raining. I live in Arrington campus and am able to see Campus Walk. If I look outside I can see umbrellas and know that it’s raining but lots of times I’m in a rush and forget.
This one was fun to make. I did it in the writing of a group I created called Aquia Maxius. The group is anonymous and put my character in a bunch of crazy situations. I thought it would be fun to use them for a ransom note.
I completed it by taking a random background I found on Google and putting text over it. I added the eye because it is the same eye I used for the group’s business card.
